William Mitchell has recently been approved by the ABA to offer a hybrid online JD.

The inaugural class gets underway in January of 2015.

Personally, I have been eagerly awaiting for something like this for a few years now, and the timing worked out rather nicely for me. Last year, before I had heard of this new program, I had started taking steps to apply this cycle to more traditional part-time programs near where I work. When I heard that this hybrid program had been approved by the ABA, I happily applied.

A little over a week ago, I received word that I have been accepted into this program, and I am looking forward to the experience.

Hamline / PT weekend program

I would appreciate any feedback from students participating in the weekend PT program regarding their thoughts on the time format, and how well it works in regards to integrating with full time employment.

Non-Traditional Students / Schedules for 1L year in PT programs
« on: September 01, 2010, 10:28:43 AM »
I am a non-traditional student (old, working a full time job, have a family, and working on a Master's degree) who is considering taking on law school in a few years. I had recently heard that George Mason has changed their 1L schedule from 4 nights a week to 5 nights a week (a negative move IMHO). Is a five day a week PT schedule now a normal occurrence in PT programs?

Any insights that can be provide about the good, bad, and ugly of PT programs schedules and how to cope with them would be appreciated.
