LSAC and LSDAS / Huge GPA Issue; Advice?

With regard to GPA problems, I had worst possible phone call about 2 days ago. In fact, it was collections. I was confused at first, but then red flags went up. Why would I owe money to a school I never attended?

The issue is as follows: Before I recieved my acceptance from Georgia Tech for UG, I had signed up for classes at a previuos college. However, I later decieded to go to Georgia Tech. I would have bet my life on the fact that I dropped these classes. Well, you guessed it. I guess I had not.

When I called the university, they said I had recieved an F in all 5 classes. I am currently contacting these professors to see if they would give me a "W", but in the meantime is there anything I can do with LSAC?

So based on what I have read about the GPA calculation, the LSDAS GPA is based on all of the courses that apply toward your degree. Now, I am assuming that the body awarding one's degree is the one who decides what courses apply toward your degree. This is fine.

However, what if you are a transfer student? Say you transferred in 30+ hours to your graduating institution. For every transferred class that you have received an unsatisfactory grade, can you systematically retake these courses at your graduating institution to obtain a higher grade, and thus eliminate a course from transferring in? So now you would be transferring a 3.08 gpa at 27 hours, or a 3.2 gpa at 23hours and so forth?

I hope I explained this clearly. Thoughts?

Studying for the LSAT / 150 on a few Practice LSAT. What is a reasonable goal?

All-

As you can tell, I am brand new to this forum. Can someone relate to my situation?:

I am scoring around 150

by taking a few practice LSATs. This is just a benchmark, as I have not begun preparing for the exam. Has anyone had a similar LSAT before they started studying? If so, what was your final LSAT?? How much time did you spend studying?
