« on: April 24, 2004, 03:56:52 PM »
I was recently accepted to Catholic U's part-time program. Any other part-timers out there? I would like to get to know some of my possible future classmates ...

Incoming 1Ls / Planet Law School II (PLS)
« on: April 24, 2004, 01:47:34 PM »
For those of you who are interested in purchasing Planet Law School II, you can find it on overstock.com for $14.95 ... which is way cheaper than what I paid with my member card at B&N.

Here's the site:

Also, I just started reading it, and would like to discuss it with others as they read if anyone is interested.

Law School Admissions / Guaranteed admission -- Part-time U of MD
« on: April 18, 2004, 02:19:19 PM »
Anyone else applied to the U of MD part-time program (i.e. the evening division)? If so, have you received a decision?

Also, does anyone know what the UGPA and LSAT stats were for 2003? I've looked on lawschoolnumbers, but it's hard to find info on the PT program.

Thanks!

Law School Admissions / Part-time programs in D.C.
« on: April 17, 2004, 11:19:17 AM »
Has anyone else applied to the following part-time programs in D.C.? If so, when did you apply, when did you receive your decision, and what are your stats?

*  GWU
*  American
*  University of Maryland
*  Catholic University

I received an acceptance from Catholic, but haven't heard from anywhere else yet. I am hoping to attend American, since they have awesome clinical programs. My stats are 158 and 3.43 (from UVA) and I am currently an editor for LexisNexis. I contacted American and an admissions counselor said they recently completed my application and I should receive a decision in a few weeks. I think I'm in for some bad news since I didn't take the LSATs until February (delaying completion of my application), and it was right after my brother had heart surgery. Ugh, so much stress!
