Where should I go next fall? / Pace or Vermont« on: January 23, 2006, 10:20:10 AM »
Would it be crazy for me to choose Pace over Vermont Law? I want to do Enviro Law and although Vermont is high ranked... I would like to stay in the NY area. What should I do!

So I received my first rejection in the mail yesterday from Seton Hall. Ouch did it sting. I thought I was somewhat competitive for that school, but I guess I was wrong. Perhaps sending a PS that includes a section explaining my struggles as a gay female to an Irish Catholic school wasn't such a good idea... anway, my question for you all is this...
Do I have no shot at Rutgers Newark since Seton Hall dinged me? I have sent Rutgers everything except their application fee. I would rather not waste the $$$ if I don't have to. I'm not that hard up for cash, but I hate to throw away money if my chances are slim. What do you think? 4

After patiently waiting to hear from Albany about possible scholarship money, I decided to drop them an email. I was told that scholarship decisions will be sent on Friday January 6. Just thought those of you who have been accepted may appreciate the update.

Does anyone know if every accepted applicant gets a phone call from the Dean? I've been complete for over 2 months now and I'm figuring they are just prolonging my suffering or maybe they have a lot of people to call.
Or perhaps I'm just driving myself crazy and overthinking everything... 6

I've never posted here before, but I have been following since September when I started my apps. I guess you could say I'm a silent observer. Anyway, I'm struggling with deciding where to go to school. I plan on going into Environmental law so naturally I applied to the number one school for enviro law... Vermont Law. they are a t3 school, but when it comes to enviro law they are ranked number 1 (okay number 2 this year). So my question is... if I get into a school that is higher ranked then Vermont... like say Cardozo or Seton Hall... would it be better to go there then a school that has a superior program for I what I plan to concentrate in. Your input is appreciated. Thanks!
