If, like me, you were bemoaning winter not only for its dark and frigid days but also for the temporary loss of the best hamburgers on the island... dispel your sadness; the Shake Shack is open again!!!
 ;D ;D ;D

This concludes my public service announcement.

Personal Statement / Yale 250, anyone?
« on: January 01, 2006, 04:04:34 PM »
Hi, would anyone care to help me by providing feedback on my Yale 250?  I actually wrote three essays and I'm trying to decide between no. 1 and no. 3.

Also, I've seen a number of people mention "PM"ing a draft for comment.  I'm fairly new to these boards so can someone please explain what this means and how it works?

Thanks in advance.

Law School Applications / Deadline for Duke
« on: December 29, 2005, 07:40:18 PM »
Does anyone know if the 1/1 deadline for Duke means that they need the completed app including LORs by then?  Or is this for everything excluding LORs?  I asked my boss again today, noticing that LSAC still hadn't received hers.  She said she was putting it in the mail TODAY.  Yeesh!
