Non-Traditional Students / fields of study within law

Just graduated this past may with a B.S. in Psychology.  I am interested in law but find it very diverse.  I would most likely want to work in a public policy field that deals with how homeless groups of people are reached or in an environmental field that deals with how corporate america deals with their wastes.  Any advice on fields of study within law for this type of thing or specific schools that have these programs?
