Hey all, I've been away from the board for a while and wanted to know if anyone's heard of people who have been rejected from HLS after having the T. Stock phone interview.  Any info would be appreciated.

Law School Applications / HLS call & still waiting?
« on: February 02, 2006, 10:48:29 AM »
Are there any folks who had the phone call in early Jan and are still waiting to hear back?  That's that situation I am in.  On LSN there are people that had their phone call after me but have all ready heard - they all got in.  I am assuming that since I haven't gotten anything that I will probably be deferred because to date I don't think anyone who had the call was rejected.  At what point does HLS stop sending out deferrals?

Law School Applications / Just Go to Yale
« on: January 27, 2006, 01:32:46 PM »
This is for all of those on the board who have been accepted at Yale. Stop worrying if Columbia or Harvard is going to accept you and go ahead and send you deposit into Yale already. It makes no sense to be so concerned with Columbia, Stanford, Harvard, or if any other school accepts or gives you money.  Yale is the best school in the country and everyone on this board who got in will go so stop the nonsense and send them your money.  If you are smart enough to get into Yale, which takes a genius to do, you are smart enough to not turn it down.

I just recieved an email from Stanford saying that they have just recieved my application and they would notify me when it becomes complete. When should I expect my application to be complete?  Thanks.

Law School Applications / If waitlisted...
« on: November 29, 2005, 09:37:50 AM »
I have read that if you are waitlisted it could be a beneficial to take the lsat again in June and if you do better than before if can help you get off the waitlist.  This makes sense.  But what happens if you do worse this time? Can schools that have already accepted you then rescind? Is there a way you can send your new score only to certain schools?

i am sure this is a dumb question but here goes. Once your application has been requested and processed to your school, does that mean that you are complete?

I would take the 3.9/160.
