Law School Applications / GPA question on app.
« on: July 21, 2009, 11:18:40 PM »
I have just been reviewing the applications for this next cycle and some schools ask me to state my "Undergraduate GPA". My GPA at my undergraduate school is 3.89 but my LSDAS GPA is 3.07. The difference is because I started school at a CC and promptly dropped out. Then I attended school again 4 years later, at a different college,  and got virtually straight As. I just started out fresh when I started college again and never sent those transcripts to my UG school. Which GPA should I put down on the app? My LSDAS GPA or my UG school GPA? I know they see all my transcripts so they will see my CC grades.Thanks.

Where should I go next fall? / Campbell and religion
« on: July 11, 2009, 02:58:37 AM »
I was just wondering if anyone had any insight as to the extent of religion that is incorporated in the classroom at Campbell. I am an atheist and the only reason I am considering a religiously affiliated school is because i have family in NC that I could stay with in Raleigh which would significantly lower my debt load upon graduation. My stats are not good enough to get into Wake Forest or Chapel Hill so those are out. Any info would help. Thanks!

Personal Statement / Reapplying a year later
« on: May 07, 2009, 01:40:17 AM »
Hey, long time reader first time poster. I was wondering what the consensus is on writing a new personal statement. I am reapplying to schools I was accepted to last year but was unable to attend due to my fiance getting a promotion at work that was only possible if we stayed put and didn't move. Well, now we can move and she can get a transfer and I want to attend the same schools. Nothing has changed. I am still at the same job and doing the same things. Should I write a new personal statement? I think the one I have is quite strong and I did get accepted the first time around. Also, should I include an addendum explaining why I didn't attend last year? Thanks in advance!
