Transferring / T4 - T3/T2 (CSU or CWRU)

I am currently at a T4 school and looking to transfer to a T3/T2 School (CSU or CWRU). The motivation for this stems primarily from geographical as well as personal reasons and I was wondering what people's input on this would be like. After my first semester, my grades 3.1 GPA and I was in the top 30%. I wont apply for CWRU's early action because I think it'd be a waste of money with those grades and I know I can improve during my second semester.

Studying and Exam Taking / Best netbook?

Im planning on taking all my in class notes on a netbook (using microsoft onenote) and then supplementing my written outlines after class, i retain stuff better this way. anyone use this method or a netbook in general? or onenote? i posted a subject about this a few months ago but I just wanted a second opinion before I spend $340. am leaning towards an asus just because of their reviews on newegg.com but i also hear that the HP mini's are nice.

General Board / Netbooks over Traditional Notebooks

I realize there is alot of note taking involved in Law School and was seriously considering bringing a Netbook to class (along with paper notebooks of course), but I became familiar with Microsoft OneNote and actually like it a lot. It can sync up with my notebook at home (which is very heavy) and I can then print copies of the notes whenever I like. Is there anyone else out there that uses OneNote or a Netbook for note taking? Thoughts and opinions appreciated.

Where should I go next fall? / Capital Law school

So Ive decided to go to Capital Law school (over akron, dayton, and toledo) and am going to bust my ass to get in or as close to the top 10%. I really want to transfer to OSU and am wondering if anyone has any advice on transferring to there (or any at all), or how to build up a good 1L (extracurriculars, etc) resume to take to the admission board. I also plan on living at the Arbor on Watermark so any input on those apartments would be helpful too. Thanks.

Where should I go next fall? / Toledo v. Capital v. Akron (transfering in mind)

So far I've been accepted into Toledo (waiting to hear on $), Akron ($7k), Capital ($10k), and WL at Syracuse. Right now Im debating between Toledo and Capital with hopes on eventually entering the Columbus/Cleveland job market. It seems Toledo is the better school out of the two (t3 v t4)? But the thought of going to one of the two and transferring to Ohio St. had crossed my mind. Any thoughts or opinions are greatly appreciated.
