Where should I go next fall? / Widener (Delaware campus).....

So is Widener a total *&^% school or do the grads have a chance in hell shot at jobs?  Do Widener grads work in surrounding states or usually just Delaware?

This school search is a pain in the ass.

Widener U School of Law / Wilmington commute to NY....

What's it like?  Is it practical to make the commute daily or would that be a major pain?  Also, do many people from Widener work in NY?

General board for soon-to-be 1Ls / School (not Federal) grants in these ny schools.....?

Is it common for schools to give need based grants that go beyond tuition, up to cost of attendance is a person is unable to attain enough federal money.  (as in sketchy credit).  I had a student loan to default and I am currently restoring it, which is supposed to make me eligible for Stafford again.  I seriously doubt I could get enough to cover it.  If a gal were to get full or partial tuition, not get quite enough stafford, couldn't borrow private, do some schools give grants to cover the rest up to coa?  I am thinking along the lines of Pace, NYLS, Hofstra, St. John's, Touro, Brooklyn LS, the NY area schools.  Anyone know?  I am curious about some Massachusetts schools to if anyone has any input.

What should a person pack/buy who is moving away to go to law school?  Apartment living in the city.  What to take to class?  Do law students carry backpacks? Briefcases?   How to dress for class?  Anything that one might not normally think of?

General Board / New York firms hire from UALR Law (Little Rock, AR)?

I am thinking of attending UALR law school in the fall.  I without a doubt want to practice in New York, but cannot afford to go to school there.  Will this extremely limit my chances of working in NY?
