I'm looking at purchasing a new 4-door smallish sedan in the next few weeks. I'm looking at the Honda Civic, Volkswagen Jetta, and Toyota Corolla.
Does anyone drive any of these cars? Can anyone recommend something in the same class/price range that I might not have thought of?

At an OCI I got asked why I live in [suburb 20 minutes away from school]
Me: Because I live with my b/f and he bought a house down there before we met
Interviewer: Oh, but why THERE?
Me: Because it's easier to get to where he works
Interviewer: Where does he work?
Me: He's a teacher at ______
Interviewer: Oh, that's cool, how did you guys meet?
Then the conversation skipped back to my suburb and commuting to the city. Whatever, I got the job.

I just wanted to get people's thoughts on this.
How much do you think you'll do once school gets going?
I'll probably do at least a little since I like to read in bed before I fall asleep at night. I'd be interested in hearing from current students too...

I'm starting this thread because there are too many ASW threads...if I feel motivated I'll modfiy the OP to make a list of everyone so that we can all find each other.

I've been invited to open houses in January at a couple schools I've applied too--and my apps are still pending.
What is this all about?
It seems like the idea time to have an open house would either be in a.) August or September when applicants are trying to decide where to apply or b.) in March or April when people have been accepted and are trying to decide where to go.
I'm going to go to the one that's in town, but I don't really know what I should expect to get out of it. There's a sample class and Q & A session. At this point, I'm beyond looking into class size, specialty areas, etc. I just want to know whether or not I'm in....

So one of my schools (Loyola Chicago) wants to know ALL law times you've broken the law, INCLUDING minor traffic violations, even if they've been expunged from your records, for when you were an adult AND a juvenile.
I had 3 speeding tickets in a 6 month period when I was 19 (I'm 24 now), and one last May. I had all but one of the ones from when I was 19 changed to non-moving violations. I ordered my driving record and it's totally clean.
I asked my admissions consultant how to handle this and she said I needed to do some research.
Is anyone else having to find out information like this? Any suggestions?
