anyone considering going? It seems like everyone complains about the facilities and location of the school. I don't know much about it, but am looking into it as much as possible. any information from current students or anyone considering the school would be appreciated, because I have to make a choice about seat deposits. Thanks

Hi, everyone I am currently moving into a new city and a new school that I recently become not to happy with. I am about 5 hours from my home and want to practice law closer to my home, but decided to attend a school further away because I was not accepted to the local schools and was offered a decent scholarship at the school I am beginning to attend. My LSAT scores were only 148 and 151 so i did not expect to many acceptances and or money for attedning any law schools. Now that I am in my new city away from everything, family friends and girlfriend of 4 years, I am regretting my decision more and more. I still have the option of getting out of my lease and I am definitely considering it. This is where I need everyones help, I recently have found out that my scholarship is applied to tuition differently than I previouusly thought. This has not made me to happy and I feel that I am paying more for an education that I may not have necessarily picked a few months ago. Can you please help me with my choices???
My ideas are to stick it out and go to school. Hopefully I will be able to transfer, I know this is not a good possibilty however and I do not want to be stuck in this city for 3 years.
My other option would be to take a year off again, and study for the LSAT, I have never studied for it and took both tests cold. They are the only two LSAT's that I have taken. I would enroll in a Kaplan or Powerscore class something along those lines, work part-time and study full time for the december LSAT. I really want to attend a local school in Pittsburgh such as Duquesne, Pitt or even WVU or Penn State I would be happy with any of those.
Please help with ideas, or if you think these feelings will go away. THANX

I will be attending the University of Detroit Mercy in the fall and I am currently trying to find an apartment downtown. Are their any areas that I should avoid. So far a few places that I have found have been the Kales, Lafayette Towers, Lafayette Pavillion, and Town Apartments, they all seem pretty reasonable. Thank you so much for any help. I am truly lost.

I am still waiting on a few schools but a seat deposit is due at the end of the week. I want to practice criminal law, but have not been able to decide on either school. From what I gathered so far, Tulsa seems to have a pretty good rep in the midwest, but I am not crazy about working in the midwest. Detroit mercy is in detroit so that in itslef does not seem that great. However I am from pittsburgh so the school is only 5 hours from where I currently am. I would liek to practice in pa. Can anyone give me alittle help on what they think. I am completely clueless on which school to send the seat deposit to. Thanks for any help in advance.

So far these are the only schools that I have been accepted too. I am having a very hard time deciding on which school is right for me. So far I think I am leading towards Tulsa. From what I have heard it seems that it has the best reputation. I am from Pittsburgh so none of these schools are very close to my home. I have heard negative things about FCSL about grading and the fact that they are a relatively new school. But, I have also read things about their sports law placement, and high bar passage rate. Touro is the closest school to me and is in a great state, however their tuition is very high and they are outshadowed by many schools in the surrounding cities and region. So I am not sure how I feel about them, because so far I will be paying full tuition at all schools because I have not been offered any scholarships. The main reason I am asking for input on these schools is becuase I would like to visit one of the schools before I make my final decision. I am leaning towards visiting Tulsa. since it seems to be my top choice. I am just afraid that I am overlooking brightspots at the other schools and not thinking about my decision. I know I would like to live in florida over oklahoma, but I am still clinging to the hope that I will be able to work in PA with a Tulsa degree, there are some very successful young attorneys inthe area with Tulsa degrees. Sorry for the messy post, as you can tell I do not have alot to go on about any of these schools any help, that you can offer me would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know how I can either find out my pin # so that I can get through the automated service. Or if there is another number that I can call. I am asking this becuase it has been a week, and some of my reports have not been sent, and my new letter of rec finally came in and it is not being sent to the schools that I need it to be. I am complete at some schools and want to make sure they get my letter as soon as possible. Thanks for any help

I was wondering if their were any schools in the top 100 that have been known to let more students in than normal with lower LSAT scores. I have already sent out 36 apps (yeah i know its alot) but i am just hoping someone will bite.
I have applied to in top 100: Penn State Rutgers (Newark) Pitt Syracuse
