Choosing the Right Law School / Tell me what you think....
« on: March 25, 2006, 10:34:12 AM »
Im pretty sure of what im gunna do, but why not ask all the smart people on LSD. So my choices are....

1. Stay at the FTC because i have been given the opportunity to co-author a paper in international anti-trust (what kind of advantage do schools give you if you are published?), study harder and take the LSAT again, re-apply next cycle.

2. Take the money that Case Western has given me and get on with my law school education.

What would you do????

Incoming 1Ls / Ohio State -- Moritz Scholarship
« on: February 01, 2006, 11:53:23 AM »
Is anyone that is planning on attending The Ohio State University also applying for the Moritz Scholarship?

Also, does anyone have information on past recipients(ie. lsat, gpa, ec's)?

anyone willing to read my first draft? Its about my work at the FTC and how it switched my plans from a PhD in econ to a Law degree. Its only two pages long. I will gladly trade with anyone. Thanks

I work in DC right across the street from GULC. Today, as he does everyday, the FEDEX man left a cart full of packages outside while he made deliveries in my building. Consequently, an envelope flew away with the wind. Being a good citizen, I ran after it. I finally got to it in the middle of F street, and soon realized that it was someone's application packet. The FEDEX man gave me a half-a$$ed "thanks", and went on his way. I didnt catch the name on the return adress, but anyone who applied to GULC in the last couple days and used FEDEX should be thankful.

Maybe this will bring me some good Karma on my own Apps.
