Munkey: I have been thinking about Silverlake and K-town. Like I said before, I have done the apartment and house thing, and I would much rather live in a house. I REALLY hate traffic and try to avoid it like the plague. It seems like there's a ton of LLS people from UCI and UCLA. I was hoping that it would be geographically diverse.
HEAD: That's understandable, I would be suspicious of him if he WEREN'T picky. IM me any time during the day! BTW, I totally agree with you that LLS should have tried to woo us a bit more. My Vandy-bound friend got DVDs, travel stipends, personal phone calls from current students, and numerous ass-kissing emails.
I must say I am getting quite excited about attending LLS. I was a bit disappointed at first, but this year has humbled me. Fello Loyolans (what the hell is our mascot btw??) let's try to recruit TheChoson for our 1L class! I have spent many hours chatting with him online, and I truly believe that he will add countless dimensions to our entering class!

I left it at work. Thanks!
Alright, so I was rejected from every single East Coast school I applied to (Boston C and Boston U, Fordham, NYU, GW, GT). I have visited other cities and stayed in D.C. for a summer, and I wasn't really that impressed, but am I really missing out on some great experience by living there for a few years? Any thoughts? SoCal native here!
Found out today VIA THEIR WEBSITE that I was rejected. How f*cking heartless. I was turned off by the admissions staff's horrible NY accents anyway. Must they hire people who sound like Fran Drescher? haha! It seems like the East Coast doesn't want me. Their loss, it's all about the W-side anyway.
I got waitlisted at Vandy today. 3.53 GPA, 161 LSAT. I know I'm pretty lucky. I'm Chinese American, born and raised in SoCal, went to UC Irvine for undergrad, one year work experience as a paralegal, openly gay applicant. I'm pretty sure I got in because of diversity. Any advice as to how I can squirm my way in?
