Studying for the LSAT / the Pattern of Reasoning vs Method of Reasoning
« on: December 17, 2008, 06:39:04 PM »
Can someone explain the difference to me please.

I am slow and need really good understanding of this from someone.

I had to reschedule my LSAT due to major personal problems that have seriously screwed up my concentration and have left me crying for hours on end. I'm hoping to be ready for the Feb administration.

Can I still apply even though I won't have a valid LSAT score and deadlines for a big chunk of the schools I'm applying to are Feb. 1, 2009?

Studying for the LSAT / 4th time taking LSAT
« on: December 03, 2008, 04:43:39 PM »
I have on canceled and 2 very low scores not even above 140.
I'm taking it a 4th time and it feels to good to know that I will get another low score and kiss law school goody-bye forever.

This Saturday will be a pivotal day for me.  At least I will be able to stop studying for the LSAT and move on to something else in life.

I'm not sure how some people can get the LSAT, I just can't Call it emotional problems, stress, or whatever you wish, I just can't get a good LSAT to get into even a 4T school.

Isn't life grand.

I've taken two prep course and I still can't seem to "get it".

I have no idea what is wrong with me.

I have a 3.6 and graduated Cumm Laude.

This *&^% sure is weird. Hopefully, I can at least score above a 130 on this 4th and last LSAT.

Wish me luck!

160 and usually score between 150 and 160 no matter how hard you try?

I know a top score is out of my league, do any of you already know?

Studying for the LSAT / Reading LR Questions First, Good or Bad?
« on: October 27, 2008, 12:44:25 PM »
What are everyone's thoughts regarding reading LR questions first and then attacking the stimulus?

sorry about the double post, my browser messed up.

I missed more than half on a LR section, but I was going terrible fast.
Then, I complete another LR section and somewhat slowed down and missed only 2.

How can I balance accuracy with speed on the LSAT?

I need some help with this game. I have no clue how to approach this correctly. Can someone shed insight into how I'm suppose to arrange the variables or something? Thanks.

It is the apprentice to assignments game, can someone help?

Studying for the LSAT / Timing Help --- 30 or 35 minutes
« on: September 09, 2008, 01:05:58 AM »
Is it a good idea to practice with a 30 minute time limit instead of a 35?

With 30 minutes, I can't quite make it to the last section of any of the sections, but the amount of time required to finish any section has definitely been under 35 minutes.

What are your takes on this approach? Thanks for your kind replies.

So I've been delivering pizza for about 6 months and it is my time to begin assembling my admissions package. Should I request an LOR from my manager? He is a total dumbass, but then again, he is the manager. My supervisor is also not that bright and I'm not comfortable with any of them writing a law school letter of rec. They are not college educated and let's just say I'm swallowing a lot of pride delivering pizza while trying to get into law school.

I'm only out of college for a year. Are my professors still viable LOR candidates? It's only been a year.

What should I do?
