I'm not a current law school student so I was wondering if anyone could help me by clarifying the difference between business law and transactional law? I know what transactional law is but is it the same as business law or related. What about corporate law? Also, would I say I want to specialize in transactional law or just become a transactional lawyer? Or am I just totally wrong altogether? Please help, thank you very much!

So let's say I exacerbated all three LSAT test taking chances with the the third one taken in Feb. 2010. Since the rule is that no exams can be taken within two years, the next time that I would be able to take the exam would be in Feb. 2012 correct? Also, law schools would look upon this negatively right?
Just making sure that I'm understanding the rules correctly. Thank you for your help!

So I received my December score and don't feel quite satisfied so I've already signed up for the February LSAT. Should I hand in my apps right now and ask admissions to keep it on hold for the Feburary score or should I just wait and submit my apps after I receive my February score? I know adcoms don't look at the apps till it's complete so is there some kind of advantage of submitting apps now and have them hold onto it as opposed to submitting it after I receive the February score?
Also, how do I even indicate that I want my apps to be held for the Feburary score anyways? The apps don't have a box to check off, that's why.

I plan on applying for the Fall 2010 school year. I know, my cum. GPA sucks, my degree granting GPA is 3.00. I live in NYC and would like to go to law school here but it's not a must. No chance at T14 right? Can I apply for the top 50 schools from the list of top 100 best law schools? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sending my app electronically through LSAC, before you get to the shopping cart, it says do you want to purchase additional LSDAS reports?
Do you guys just put 0 or should I purchase additionals?
Help help, thanks in advance!

Does anyone know which law schools take new students for the first year during the Spring semester instead of the traditional Fall? I looked up several and they only accept in the Fall ie St. John's, Fordham.
Thanks in advance.

Is it just me or (this sounds so immature but these words couldn't describe it any better)
IS EVERYONE AND THEIR MOM GOING TO LAW SCHOOL?
I don't mean to disrespect any parents going to law school or non traditional students, it just means that there are so many people (out of the blue it seems), that are applying to law school and taking the LSATs now. People that I know and people they know and so on, all seem to be wanting to go to law school now. I'm not even sure if this is something they want, I feel like and in some cases know that they're just applying for the hell of it.
What is the deal? Sorry this was just a rant...

Might be late in the cycle but who's in with me for the February LSAT?
Good luck all!
