Law School Applications / Late Applications
« on: January 14, 2012, 09:10:11 PM »
OK, I've been doing the research, and I am set to apply. But I was wondering if there are any T1, T2 or even T14 schools that will accept applications in June for attendance this Fall (2012)?

I saw some posts, and I heard there are other schools like Tulsa, Phoenix, and Florida Coastal that accept late, but I want to know for some T1 or T2 schools. On Georgetown's site, it says they DO accept late applications but no word on how late.

I do understand that applying that late is just moronic and the chances of acceptance drop drastically, almost non-existent probably. They are the "elite" schools so demand is obviously high, but I just I don't want to wait a whole year.

Law School Applications / What schools are in my reach?

Hi, I just registered for a new account because I'm curious as to where I stand.

I graduated from the University of Ilinois, with a PoliSci major, and Phil minor.
Unfortunately, I graduated with a 2.5 GPA.
I did score a 177 on the LSAT.
I am Korean, fluent in both English and Korean.
I did a lot of volunteering and participated in many organizations.

I obviously know I'm not getting into top tier law schools for sure. I'm realistic. Is there any hope for me at all though?
I think the only wish school I can apply to is the U of I law program, and that would be a stretch.

EDIT: Oh, I forgot to mention that right now I've taken on a job, a one year program where I teach English to students in Korea. The EPIK program. Don't know if that improves my chances.
