How does registration work? For example, spring registration for 1Ls is on January 12, 2007. Do I have to go to the school on that day and register in person or can I do it online?

Studying and Exam Taking / Primers and Commercial Outlines« on: July 05, 2006, 12:16:56 AM »
I'm reading Planet Law School II and it recommends that I buy and read a Primer for each class (to learn "Black Letter Law") and commercial outlines (to help me outline and better understand the assigned cases). Does anyone know anything about these? What exactly is a commerical outline? Can I buy the Primers and commercial outlines before knowing which cases my professor will assign?

Law School Applications / UC Davis - File on Hold????« on: February 06, 2006, 11:26:53 PM »
So everyday (actually more like every 15 minutes) I check the UC Davis status checker and every time I check it, it says the same thing: "evaluation in progress." But, as of 5PM today, it says "evaluation in progress-file on hold." What does that mean??

Has anyone gone complete at UCLA or Loyola (LA)? I applied to both schools on September 7th and have yet to receive any response. Should I call them?

Law School Applications / Fall Semester Grades« on: November 23, 2005, 12:21:54 PM »
I think I'm going to do well enough this semester to raise my GPA. Should I submit my transcripts to the LSDAS or to each individual school? If I submit them to the LSDAS will they then send updated reports to each law school? Will the sending in of my transcripts delay the processing of my application?

I sent my app to Loyola (in Los Angeles) on 9/7 and they still haven't requested my report nor notified me that they received my application. Has anyone else heard anything from them?

General Off-Topic Board / Beta Gamma Sigma - Legitimate???« on: November 06, 2005, 05:36:41 PM »
I was wondering if anyone has any information on whether Beta Gamma Sigma is legitimate or just trying to make money. I got an invitation before and this time it was from the Dean of my university's Business Department (unlike the other invitations I've gotten before to join other "Honor Societies") so I was wondering if it's worth the $60 to join and if it's prestigious enough that I could buy a sweatshirt to represent my membership and not feel stupid.

Law School Applications / Loyola & Chapman Law School Report Requests« on: October 21, 2005, 12:46:46 AM »
I sent in my apps to Loyola & Chapman Law Schools on 09/07/05. Does anyone have any idea why they aren't requesting reports yet? Has anyone had their reports requested by them? They're the only 2 schools I have left.
