Where should I go next fall? / Brooklyn Law School class of 2011

Hey I started a facebook group for incoming students to BLS.  I thought creating a group might help with various transition issues.

I have to put money down soon at one of these schools. My goal is to work in NYC after graduation.  I would love to hear from people who have attended either school.  Thanks

Acceptances / Brooklyn wtf is up with 10lb mailing?

Got into Brooklyn last week. Anyone else receive this 10lb package from them overnight priority mail. I wish they had offered me more money rather than spending whatever ridiculous amount of money (must be at least $50) it must have cost to send this thing. All of these documents could easily be, and likely are, available on line.

Where should I go next fall? / Very random comparison on placement from St. Johns, Brooklyn, and Seton Hall

Hey so I don't claim that this is in anyway telling or even necessarily accurate but I just did a random sampling of placement from Brooklyn, St. John's, and Seton Hall at law firms with NYC offices listed by BBLP. I choose 10 firms randomly and here are the results (if I added it up correctly which I may not have since my teacher appears to have a suspicion that I am not listening to her lecture). Again not sure this is really helpful but here it is... I will post more if I get around to continuing this (if anyone would like to split up going through the firms that would be fantastic, willing to add more schools for comparison). I would look at the partners and associates as the other designations can sometimes be misleading.
