Studying and Exam Taking / Summer Prep

Just from doing research on various websites and books I know there are 2 schools of thought on prepping before your 1L year ;
1. To go full steam ahead and prep
2. "Dont waste your time....enjoy your summer , its the last free time youll enjoy in a while ".

I made up my mind that I am going to prep for school and have been doing so for about a month.....at the very least it cant hurt to get a jump on things . If anyone else out there is working ahead , what books are you using ? Is there anything you found particularly useful or not useful ?

General Board / What is the most difficult 1L subject ??

As someone who is going to be a 1L in the fall , I would like to know from people who have already been or are currently 1Ls , which subject they found to be the most challenging and why ? Was there any particular aspect of the course that made it difficult ?

Is anyone going to or considering going to Albany in the fall ?? It would be cool to know a few people , or even get ideas on some good places to live up there

Transferring / Transfer or not

Just a hypo for some of you that may already be in school .... Do you think it is better to transfer from a T3 to a T1 and graduate somewhere in the middle of your class or to stay at your T3 and graduate in the top 10 % ?
