Does anyone have any experiences to share or comments on the Bank One Education One student loans? I am apprehensive about taking on more loans, especially private ones, but I am taking classes this summer and doing an externship and I can already tell that I am not going to have enough money to get through until the fall semester starts. Getting a job is out as I will only have 2 weeks free after I finish my externship before I start another class, which is 1.5 weeks long, and then after that only about 2.5 weeks before fall semester starts. I think I would only need to borrow about $2,000.
I just learned I was selected for an interview for spring OCI. Anyone who has already been interviewing, do you have any tips? What are the typical questions you have been asked? Will they look at my grades and question why I did better in one class as opposed to another?
Has anyone had any problems with fatigue? If so, have you found a solution? I get really tired each day at around late afternoon and it affects my concentration. Then finally I start to get over it and can focus again. Any suggestions? Does exercise really work?
What is everyone's approach to outlining? Do you outline weekly, after the end of a topic, every few weeks? How do you fit it into your schedule? I had trouble last semester trying to fit everything in. I am trying to outline as I go along now, but it is hard to do everything. I want to continue briefing the cases and focusing on legal writing assignments. It seems I can't give everything the attention I would like to. Any suggestions?
Which would be more impressive when looking for a 2L summer job next year: doing a judicial externship this summer in a federal district court or one in the state supreme court? Do you think doing a judicial externship will look better than a law firm job?
