Considering the apporaching deposit deadline (4/14), has anyone heard anything yet about financial aid offers? I'm wondering if I should call.

What did the rest of you do? I finally got my "hold" from the big "H" (just glad it's not a rejection). I want to send in an additional LOR to both H and Columbia, where I've also been held. Should I submit these via LSDAS or can I have my new recommender send them directly to the school? Everything else I have done went through LSDAS. Which is "better?"
ack! this need access process is driving me nuts! i have some loans out from ug in my own name, but my parents also have some in their name. i am VERY confused on how to report this on the need access form.
do i only put the loans in my name on the form? (for "indebtedness", i put only the ones in my name; but for "student financial aid history," it asks for all grants and loans. should i include my parents' loans here, too?)
please please anyone?
so, i'm in the middle of filling out my need access and am trying to decide whether it would be a good or bad thing to include harvard et al on my list right now (on the off off chance that i got accepted to any of them). for some of them, i don't see any instructions to do so now, and the consensus at least for hls seems to be that not much can be done until admission. but hls is a drop-down option, as are others, so i'm tempted to just do it while i'm on top of it. what have others done? pray tell.
for people who have applied and possible even asked hastings:
must we submit the financial aid form with the regular app, or is it ok to send that after? they seem to state a preference for everything coming in at the same, and i'm trying to decide how worth it it is to delay my application to get my finances in order. any thoughts?
My 3rd LOR was processed last week, after I submitted all my apps. I just went complete at Georgetown today, but noticed that LSDAS didn't do an automatic LSDAS report update yet. I'm wondering what people think regarding:
a) when will that letter get processed (most schools say mondays, but monday's come and gone and no sign of an update on lsac)?
b) is Georgetown slow enough at reading apps that by the time my lor is finally sent, they won't have made a decision?
LORs drive me nuts. I wouldn't care so much, but THIS letter is my best one.

I am completely torn. Should I submit a diversity statement to schools that don't ask? Or would that look bad? I don't think I could smoothly integrate it into my personal statement. I've talked to people who have done both. If I knew the adcomms wouldn't mind, I definitely would, but don't want to get dinged for not following directions. opinions?
hi guys. i was wondering how most people structured their diversity statements. i am thinking one page, double-spaced. but should i be thinking of it more as another chance for a personal statement? i'm kind of a non-trad, so could use the room for that.
i was just wondering how everyone else wrote their diversity statement in terms of length, depth, etc.. was it like the ps but shorter? a summary of sorts? i feel lost on this one. if there's a specific area on the board that addresses it, i haven't found it yet. thanks.
