Anybody know if the date is the date received or the date postmarked? also, is it possible to ask the law schools to extend a couple of days or a week? Thanks,

this time last year yale had already given out way more decisions. this year it's getting so slowly. my theory is that this in turn slows down the decision-making in other T14 schools--the pecking order dictates the other schools look up for yale for any further moves. any thoughts?

So NYU obviously has many different kinds of scholarships. what i wonder is whether there are similar scholarships at other schools than NYU that require an essay? do you guys use the essays written for NYU for other scholarships, if there's any? Anybody? thanks.

Does anybody have any idea what kinda info the admissions committee would have access to once they have our SSN? Will they know about our salary history, like HR depart. would, at job interviews? Or our bank acount, for the purpose of financial aid? Or criminal record? Just curious...things are done in a quite different way afer 911...

some schools don't say whether they would like single space or double space, although they do give how many pages they are looking for, for PS and diversity. anybody knows if we should just assume it double space? how about 1.5 space for those who don't specify? risky?

I am very confused right now. Just looked thru some porfolios on lawnumbers and saw many ppl with more than one "EA" on the schools they're applying. Isn't it that one's supposed to apply for only one school with Early Decision? Anybody knows what's going on? Thanks.
