General Board / Is buying really old used commerical outlines a good idea?
« on: June 07, 2004, 12:12:16 PM »
I need some advice... I'm going to be a 1L this fall. I just found someone who's willing to sell me 40 used commercial outlines for less than the cost of one new commercial outline! They cover her whole legal education - 1L courses and on.
The kicker: They're about 8-10 years old.
Would it be harmful for me to trust such outdated books? Do outlines tend to change much from decade to decade? Should I take this bargain and weed out the few good outlines, or use the $ for one new outline instead?
