I've never rented an apartment before but I plan not to worry about it until early August. Is it a particularly bad idea?

Thank you, tonyp. It is very informative.

How come I have never received anything regarding the immunization? So far the only letters I received are the admission letter and a scholarship app (which I am not elligible for). Has everyone received the immunization form?

Choosing the Right Law School / Re: Vandy ($$), UTexas or UCLA

wow, thanks you guys. Seems that Vandy is the consensus on this board.
I was leaning towards UT. Maybe it is because UT admitted me so much earlier than the other two. Most of my friends think I should go to UCLA though. It just seems that UT and UCLA is a little better than Vandy and harder to get into.
Also, I know this is hard but I will definitely aim at transferring unless I have some luck with any of my waiting lists from Michigan, Upenn, and UVa.

Any more suggestions? Thank you very much~ Good luck with law schools!

I am in the same situation and I chose UT over W&L.

Law School Admissions / Re: Boalt 3/22 email...anybody get a decision?

Nothing for me, yet...
I think if we do not hear from Boalt today, most likely it will be a ding or waitlist. Think about it, our files have been reviewed but no acceptance followed... what does it mean... Sorry about this but I am prepared for a ding. Hope I am wrong and good luck, my fellow "faculty review" folks who are still waiting.

haha, I should win this game. 17 pending and 1 waitlist. The worst case would be on a same day 10 rejections flooding my mailbox.

I do not think it helps my app but I listed it.

I am in the same boat. With my bad LSAT score (high GPA), I almost have no chance of getting into a T14 (still waiting on most of them though). I got accepted into a T20 so most likely I will be heading there in the fall. My LSAT is about 4 points off my practice average but I really do not want to retake it and spend one more year doing nothing constructive (come on, life is short). For me, it is better to work my ass off for my contract class than for the LSAT. Wanting to transfer--> great motivation---> great chance to excel...
