According to the book, my first year classes are going to consist mostly of bull**** sessions that are just passing the time until the final. The book says that professors love to tell you "not to worry about the rules"... but come exam time, you're nailed by a big ol' test on Black Letter Law (whereas in class all year you've done nothing but talktalktalk). Do they *really* play "hide the ball?"

Studying for the LSAT / Re: June05 testers, am I crazy or...

I thought that the "stone/bread" option was a SECULAR choice? I remember that the two answers I was considering (Job and another... possibly stone-bread?) looked really good. But only the Job one was religious and the other one was not. Since the point was to mirror the passage as closely as possible, I went with Job. Further, I don't think it required outside information. "Job" and "biblical" could have been replaced with, say, "Hamad Al'grabah" and "koranical" (sic) and I would have chosen that anser... and I know bugger all about Islam. I'm just sayign that it boiled down to a secular and a religious theme in the two answers I was considering.

People smarter than I have been all over this problem, though.

Did anybody miss it? Maybe it was so easy it didn't even cause a blip on our radar. I got it right.

Studying for the LSAT / Re: Versus UG Peers? Where do I find this.

Woot! That puts me in the top ten percent of my UG.. kids that were mostly planning on law school from day one. (I"m one of those "woke up and decided to go to law school" people).

Unnnnnnfortunately, my UGPA is 2.51 puts me in the bottom 16 percent. Ouch. And I don't EVEN want to think about my CGPA of 2.29.

Job, dammit

There were fewer LG questions though. I only missed five on the whole LG section and am atrociously weak at the games. But the other sections (esp RC) were harder than usual. 11 wrong for me is what I expect from the games, not RC. Since it was longer, there were more to miss. I missed 8 in total across both LR sections. So while my strengths were LR,RC,LG my score says it was LG, LR, RC which is nuts.

If they'd made the games longer and RC shorter (and possibly easier, I dunno) I would have prolly gotten the exact same score. All that would change would be where I miss my points.

160 and Job.
