I am comparing the principle, not the situation.

There is a double standard here.  What about all of the hip hop "artists" that constantly insult women with their misogynistic slurs?  Or, even better, how about this video in which the speaker calls for the TERMINATION of the entire white race?

Double standard?

Current Law Students / Re: Natural Law v. Positive Law

I like to think of natural law as law that is "written on the heart" whereas positive law is man-made law that that has natural-law at its root.  An example of this would be murder.  If there were not law against murder, most men would have it written on their heart (natural law) that murder is wrong.  Man has taken this sentiment, and prohibited murder (man-made law).

What is the difference?  Are any of you learning about natural law in your secular law school?

Current Law Students / EZ Rules for Civ Pro

I have the 1999 version of EZ Rules.  I could not find one that is more current. I know their have been several revisions made to the FRCP.  I don't care about minor changes.  My question is have there been any MAJOR revisions since this book was published?  Thanks.

But D2 could assert a claim against D1, right?

Current Law Students / Joinder Question- Help!
« on: December 14, 2006, 08:33:50 PM »
Under FRCP 19a (compulsory joinder) and FRCP 24a (intervention of right), my prof said that complete diversity does not matter.  So does that mean if P1 (VA) v. D1 (SC) and then D2 (VA) comes into the case by either 19a or 24a that that would be OK?  Thanks.

Have you lost the motivation to study?  Are you burnt out? Do you keep telling yourself you will start studying at a certain time only to watch yourself procrastinate for another few hours? Do you keep reassuring yourself that you can wing it?  Join the thread...

Thank you.  I know that it resembles the complaint, but I did not know if there were any major changes.
