We have to read A Civil Action before classes start?  Where did you see that, Matt?

I got my official registration and block schedule in the mail today (I live in Pittsburgh).

I'm in section A3, by the way...if there's anyone else here in my section, hello!

I think I'm in A2, but I haven't received my registration packet yet.  It should get to me in a few days I guess!

An even better way to tell what large section/small section you're in is to look at the text book list.  It lists the large/small section next to the professor's name. So, for instance, Delgado only teaches Legal Process for section B2.  If you've got Delgado, you're in B2, and so on.

Yup, that's how I figured out I'm in A2.  However, the textbook list and my schedule have different professors listed for Legal Process for all of section A.  My schedule says Brake, the texbook list says Nathelson (or something like that).  Did anyone else notice this?

Current Law Students / Re: Ladies- where are you suit shopping?
« on: July 26, 2005, 06:48:42 AM »
I used to love casual corner, and own about 5 suits from there, but after about 6 mos. to a year, all those suits started to come apart.  The fabric literally started shedding.  Hopefully you'll have better luck with them than I did!

Oh No!  Well, they should get me through the first year of school without a problem, and then I'll have to get some more before I start working.  Thanks for the warning though!

I just bought 2 suits at Casual Corner over the weekend (my Mom made me check it out, because I never thought to go there).  They fit well (pants are actually long enough!) and, to top it off, you get a 15% discount with your Triple A card.  So if you're a member of Triple A, I highly recommend looking there!

Current Law Students / Re: 12" or 15" Powerbook?
« on: July 20, 2005, 08:05:55 AM »
I went with the 12" and I love it so far.  I don't mind the small screen.  The 15" was tempting, but I just didn't want to lug it around with me, even though it's not much heavier.  It's just my personal preference, but I'm very happy with the 12" Powerbook.

I thought I read it's 6% for in staters, 3% for out of if that's correct, it's a bit of a relief for us out of staters.
