Financial Aid / Re: Help with Private Loan Rates?
« on: June 18, 2005, 10:31:16 AM »
Yeah, you can fill out the information and they will tell you what rate they will give you. You dont have to sign it so you will be free to check out other lenders.

Ill try to help you with this. If any other classes from the community college show up on your undergrad transcript (from your degree-granting univ), then you have to submit the entire transcript and LSAC will see those bad classes and factor them in. Write an addendum and explain seems as though everyone's cummulative GPA is different from their degree-granting one.

Did you use those courses for credit towards your undergrad degree? If not, then you dont have to. I spoke with the law school that ill be attending and they said that they only need those transcripts from schools where you were completing your undergrad degree.

I'm in the same boat as all of you. Personally, I don't care so much about Cornell anymore because I'm very happy with BC. I also have relatives who went to Cornell Law and they both said that because of the school's location, you have to really be in the top half of the class to have good prospects for employment. Who knows. I just wish the wait with Cornell would be over.

Michaelduke- 3.8+/165.

If you dont mind my asking, what joint degree program did you apply for? Im on the PWL for the JD/LLM.

I too will be attending BC in the fall. I still have no idea where to live, so if any of you have some advice, then please pass along. I will bring my car there but I would still like to live somewhat close to the law school.

Hey guys,

I'll also be writing one of these letters. One question though-- if the person who signed the waitlist letter is the Associate Dean for Admissions, should I address him as "Dean ___" or "Mr. ____"? This has always been bugging me.
