just out of curiosity, I know people have said that they believe some LSN users fudge their numbers.  What percentage would do you think is giulty of such?  Also, do you think there is a high number of folks who will no longer post their info if they don't get accepted (primarily b/c it's no longer of value to them personally)?

offered at the same time as letters of acceptance, or do they come afterwards?  Thanks for any information you can provide.

I'm waiting to hear from those three with a 2.6 and 162.  I applied in mid-January.  I am hoping that my GPA will not count as much against me because I graduated in '95, but I don't have a definitive feel as to how they weigh older applicants' GPAs...

txlaw...what about the possibility of going to South Texas and transferring after 1st year?  My 2.6 and 162 gives me LITTLE confidence....even after 10 years work experience...

I applied to UT, UofH and South Texas on January 20th.  Aside from getting notices that my UT application is complete and the on-line updates from UH, I haven't heard anything.  We'll see...

In my experience, the letters were processed within 3 to 4 business days from the time they were mailed.

Does anyone know what consideration, if any, is given towards a low GPA if you've been out of school for 8 years?  My GPA was a 2.6 and my LSAT was a 162.  I'm curious what shot I have at the Texas schools to which I have applied...
