Delta Law:

Thanks for the shout-out!  Yeah, Texas Tech's BLSA chapter is incredible!  Good luck at OU!

Burning Sands is right.  Don't argue with fools.  These good-ol'-boys are everywhere.  I think that it's funny that the poster knows what black people want though.  He/she must have had a lot of time on his/her hands if they spoke to every black person in America.

Welcome Ladyday!  It's a pleasure to have you here!

I'll be headed to Texas Tech in the fall.  They were VERY generous, and the people there, especially the BLSA, really reached out to me.  I think that Burning Sands is headed to Rutgers (I don't know which one).  What about you?

Guilliani is a bigot.

I said the same thing until I got a full scholarship from a respected school in my home state.  But money may not be an issue for you.

One word of advice- apply EARLY.  If possible, have everything in and COMPLETE by mid October at the latest.

Oh yeah, I'm sure they would.

Probably just as many as blacks who graduate from the other 180+ schools do.

Don't let your mouth get you into something that your ass can't get you out of.

My situation is very much like Burning Sands, but Howard did finally accept me off of the waiting list.  I've opted to attend a solid state school on full scholarship instead.  But, like Burning Sands, if Howard had offered $$, I'd be there.  You can't beat the Howard experience.

What's up with all of the talk about "dealing with" being at a prodominantly black law school.  Funny, I haven't seen a poster talk about "dealing with" being at a predominantly white law school.  Just food for thought.

This is insulting.
