Hmm. I've heard from USD, Loyola and Cal Western, but not Thomas Jefferson. I applied to them all at the same time. I called TJ last week and they said they're still reviewing. If I don't hear by August, I'm asking for my fee to be reimbursed. That's ridiculous!

thanks for the perspective and humor. i guess i will wait until after 1L, but probably before I graduate. my partner is really excited about being the primary caregiver, so i'm not worried about my time being taxed. i'm not really into the idea of being a ft mom. i have a feeling once the baby's here i'll want to spend more time with him/her, but this is life i suppose...

wow. so it's great to know i can just wallow in debt for the rest of my life...

I was wondering if anyone was thinking of having a child while in law school? When do you think would be the best time to do this?

Because of my age, in order to maximize the chances of having a healthy baby, I should do it in the next three years. Clearly, I would wait until after 1L, but should I do it during the summer of 2L and miss internship chances or wait until after 3L? Do you think an employer would frown upon me taking maternity leave within a few months of being hired? I actually want to work in govt so I don't think it will be seen as negative as if I worked in big law, but still...

I am lucky in that my partner is incredibly accomodating and wants to have primary responsiblity for raising our child (in fact, he wants to eventually be a stay at home dad). Plus my parents and brother are all eager to share the responsibility while I am getting through school and establishing my career. It's just a question of when...

I have loans from undergrad. Will this interfere with my getting a full 18.5K for law school?

When was admit day? Maybe I missed it because I wasn't admitted until the 26th????

Does anyone know if spouses can use the sports center and jenny craig pavillion? I work out with my fiance and was hoping we could both have an alternative to 24 Hour Fitness. Also, does anyone know how those facilities are?
