Is everyone on the WL still showing complete on the status?

Hey Snough - did you mean a couple of people were accepted outright or off of the waiting list?  Did you see that someone has been pulled from the WL on LSN?  They posted the decision as 5/6.

ANYONE else heard anything on movement of the WL?  The longer it gets the worse my numbers look again...I also never got a response to the e:mail I sent Sanjeev weeks ago.  Not a good sign.

Well I sent my app in in October. I'm still showing "complete"....Happy Mother's Day to me.

You're waitlisted right?  I think I saw you on LSN.

Yep - sorry for the delayed response.

Well I sent my app in in October.  I'm still showing "complete"....Happy Mother's Day to me.

I congratulate those of you who have managed it, but does anyone else find it strange that W&L is giving out big bucks to at least a few people off the waiting list this early in the game?

Do you think this fact is normal for them, or might it be a sign of widespread trouble getting seat deposits this year--W&M accepting several people off their waiting list nearly two weeks before the seat deposit is due also strikes me as odd (at least at schools near W&L/W&M in rank)?

Obviously, it's too early to say with certainty that there is something weird going on, but speculation is fine by me.

It may just be me - but I CANNOT stand seeing that man's face.

Shall we bombard everyone on LSN who has identified that they will attend another school with IMs to send in their withdrawals????

Things truly do happen for a reason.  Don't give up if this is what you want.  Its not even too late for some schools for this fall.  I'm still getting e:mails from UDayton, Roger Williams, etc.  Check and see who's still accepting if you really have your heart set on this fall.  BEST OF LUCK!!!

As is always the case with me, the more time passes the crazier my life gets and the less likely quitting my job to go to school seems.  My job is frigging snowballing like you wouldn't believe.  I don't say no because I don't know what's going to happen with OSU.  I wouldn't mind deferring my acceptance at Capital a year but I would really rather not do that at OSU if by some (speaking of snowballing) chance I get in.  Help me...

My understanding is that they didn't reduce their class size, they reduced their number of offers to yield the same class size.  In years past their number of offers yielded over the 225 they wanted.  Fewer offers is what is resulting in going to the waitlist - my understanding.

Today's the day they told me they were getting their report from the bank on seat deposits.
