Wait List / Re: Pace

I am with you. I would have gone in a second if they had accepted me. Are you holding out for Pace, Jim? Or did you pay your seat deposit to NYLS??

I decided that I would hold out for Pace.  I am not going to NYLS.  Tough decision.

The case was back in 2001.  It should have went to trial by now.  Maybe it was dismissed or settled.  Still does not change my mind. I believe most of the seats in the classroom are bolted down and if asked I wouldn't go in front of the class and sit down voluntarily.

Why didn't the police do something.  If this is true then that student could have filed criminal charges.

Any more movement on Pace's waitlist.  Does anyone know when the cutoff is for the waitlist. Is is two weeks before beginning of class or two days.

I am also oi the waitlist.  I was waitlisted in February and time is going by quickly.  I received an acceptance from 1 school and turned it down and decided to reamin on the waitlist.  I have been looking at LSN and this web site for some indications and the waiting is tough.  Good luck to you all and hope that you all receive a favorable response.

I'm also waitlisted at Pace.
The strange thing is that I sent my application to Pace as a spur-of-the-moment thing, because they e-mailed me in April or May, encouraging me to apply, saying they found me through some Candidate Referral Service or something.  I thought that meant they'd be interested in me enough to accept me, despite my low LSAT score... but then I was waitlisted.  Yuck.
Did this happen to anyone else?

I applied in September and got waitlisted by early February.  I am debating whether I torture myself and retake LSAT.  Pace is the only school I want to attend at the moment. I am debating whether to reapply early admissions but I am also concerned that I may also be waitlisted next year also.  All I would need for Pace to secure is 10 points. I took 2 prep courses without any luck.  Good luck to you and I would suggest that if you do decide to reapply, submit your applications very early.

I had visited Pace two times.  Wouldn't mind visiting it again if it would help get me off of the waitlist.

Hey there, I was accepted off the waitlist yesterday by means of a big envelope sent regular mail. I took a campus tour last week and really fell in love with the place. Though a Hofstra offer may intrigue me, Pace gave me a warm feeling that Hofstra did not. I highly suggest visiting Pace if you haven't already. I am sure that my visit and meeting with the director of admissions sealed the deal. They are very cool people out there.

Also, I'm going PT - offering to go PT may help you out. You can transfer to FT easily, so they say.

I applied to Part Time Evening.  I interviewed with school last Fall and took a tour of campus.  I also attended a class was very impressed.  Congratulations on your acceptance.  Did you call to ask for a meeting or did Pace ask to meet with you.  I would love to try to meet again with Pace.  I did not interview with the admissions director.
