My record consists of five petty thefts, attempted receiving stolen property, trespassing, driving under suspension, criminal damaging. All misdemeanors.
I heard the same about Cooley and Texas Southern. Does anyone know anything about volunteer work? Would that help with my character?

I've been denied from six schools in a row so far. All of them have told me it is because of my criminal record. Ohio Northern voted 6-0 to reject my application. My numbers are 155/3.09

Akron-Reject
Ohio North.-Reject
Dayton-Reject
Toledo-Reject
Florida Coastal-Reject
Capital-Reject

Does ANYONE know of any schools I should apply to who are more willing to give people a second chance. Does anyone know of anything I can do to show my character is trustworthy?

Law School Applications / Twelve Misdemeanors is Keeping Me Out of Law School

I have twelve or thirteen criminal/traffic convictions from when I was 18 and 19 (23 now). They were just a bunch of driving under suspension and petty thefts with a 4 month stint in jail. Does anyone think I will get shutout? Anyone know someone in a similar situation? Please give me some answers, I need them.

I have other's pending, but I was dinged at Capital and O Northern so I know I am in trouble now.

Denials / Twelve Misdemeanors Is Keeping Me Out of Law School So Far

I have twelve misdemeanor convictions from when I was 18 and 19 (23 now). I have no felony convictions, drug offenses, violent offenses, or sexual convictions. Just a bunch of driving under suspensions, petit thefts, and a 4 month stint in jail when I was 18.
Does anyone think I should just apply to every law school in the country? Does anyone think I have a chance or know someone in a similar situation. I have been searching for answers for two years, and I have found no one in a similar situation.

the darned lsac website said that statistically I would most likely get into akron for sure...that didn't happen. I really need CleveSt. or Case now. They are the closest to my home without me having to move. Toledo would be my next choice.

I got rejected from Akron today with a 3.02/155, I am still waiting on Case, OHState, CleveState,Capital, Toledo...

Must have been my criminal record
