Incoming 1Ls / Before going to law school.

For some of you who are already accepted and getting ready for your first semester in law school, how much actual information regarding law or the constitution did you know going into it?

The only thing that will probaly help me is spending 6 months completing a police academy and deciding to pursue law.

So basically how much about the law in general did you know before going to law school?

When law schools determine whether to admit you or not, do they look back at your ACT too make their decision?

It's all too much of a reality for me too....

But I will agree, I bought a book from the princeton review and I did notice some improvement.

Maybe some people just have it and some don't?

I don't know, We'll be alright.

I'm thinking of finishing up this year, or at least this semester and transferring there.

Do any of you attend there or have any experience with Syracuse?

Yeah but you can still practice law in some states without taking the bar, right?

Well through my own personal experience I would say don't work unless you really need too.

I would focus all my time on school, you have plenty of time to work in the future.

But of course, thats just my opinion.
