Hi,
My numbers are a 169 and a 3.75 and i got into NYU (albeit off the waitlist) so i really think you'll be fine. I applied ED as well, and even though i didnt get in that way, i do think it made it known to them that NYU really was my first choice, and i think this helped me out later on.

Abacab isn't anywhere, and doesn't really care, so I'm not sure if I should congratulate or not. I guess I will, just in case.

I just got into NYU, so i'll be withdrawing from Fordham in the coming days. Should free up a spot.

First off, i dont think youre an idiot at all. If youd be happier at NYU you'd be happier at NYU. I turned down Duke for Fordham cause i thought id be happier there. As far as the money goes, you may get NYU to give you more, but from what ive heard they arent one of the greatest schools when it comes to negotiating financial aid/scholarship offers, particularly this late in the game.

Yeah, got my second reserve letter today. Dated the 11th. Trying to decide if I want to stay on.
Same. I am all set to go to Fordham. I have everything in place. BUT I have wanted to go to CLS since high school. Ugh, and the deadline to stay on is tomorrow.
I'm in the same boat, except im hoping for NYU even more than i am Columbia. Maybe i'll see you at Fordham in the fall
