Does anyone know how long letters of rec are good for? I.e., I have some now from undergrad profs. If I apply in 10 years, are they still valid? Or do they expire after 5 years along with my LSAC account?

In at Chicago, ED.

Why did you ED at Chicago?  Just curious... You probably would've gotten into HYS and money at all of CCN.

ehhh the lowest accepted Harvard I've really seen (URM) is 165/166. I have no softs to speak of, either. Yale would probably be out too. And between CCN, it's personal preference, and I like Chicago's clerkship and academic prestige. Also, small classes.

Maybe Chicago will still give me money. They still need highly qualified blacks at the school... and there's nothing stopping me from not attending this year altogether if I can't afford it.

Complete 10/30.

I feel bad withdrawing from all these schools that were nice enough to admit me... but I am also eager to free up spots for people on waitlists at the other T-14's I'm hoarding.

164, 3.9

GULC and Boalt thus far.

Really hoping on one of CCN.

Considering Feb retake to get more merit-based aid.

You're not fond of California?

No, that's not it. It's just that, by most accounts, CCN > BMVP

Hello all,

I have a 3.47 gpa and 168 LSAT...

I'm a UG senior contemplating going to a t10 grad school for public policy before law school. My question is will a successful two years boast my admission prospects in general? And at present would the T10 law programs be a reach?

Thanks

FORGET grad school. LAW SCHOOL NOW. Most T-14's offer a dual degree JD/MPP if you really want to.

Apply at ALL T14s. You're a lock everywhere except YHS, and I'd bet money on you cracking H and S.
