yea I figured it would come down to the location preference. I think I would rather be in NC, but def need to visit. Im curious as to whether there ranking will drop even more and out of the tier 1 anytime soon. I hear chapel hill is awesome, but then again New Orleans sounds awesome too.

I figured theyd be pretty similar, but UNC is definitely cheaper, and if i could get in state residency that would be much better cost wise. im just worried with the rankings dropping that UNC will continue dropping and by the time im out of school it will be harder to land a job. im probably just reading too much into the rankings tho. Any idea on the big law prospects?

Just got accepted to UNC chapel hill and was already in at Tulane w/ 15k a year. I live in Fl currently, and while I am not sure exactly where id want to live after law school, i do want the option of FL. I already know a bunch about tulane, so i need some info on UNC. How well does UNC do in the south, dc, and NY? How is the biglaw prospects for UNC? How is the reputation compared to Tulane? Any info on UNC would be greatly appreciated and would help me greatly.

yea I have lived in FL all my life as well, have some connections already, and also the tulane info says there are about 650 alums in FL. I figure it shouldn't be too hard, just needed some reassurance to pick Tulane over miami where id have to pay 45k more right off the bat in tuition and then higher COL. It looks like Ill be in the Big Easy in no time and im damn excited.

How would one compare Tulane's placement in FL to UM or FSU? Also, how are the salaries in FL? Tulane is giving me 15k/yr so it is much cheaper than sticker at UM. I would imagine tulane would do well in FL because of the proximity but im not too sure, any stats on the % in FL? How well do the people in the sports law program do, as well as the environmental program? Also, how is the american business law program looked upon and would it only be beneficial in BIGLAW? Tulane is my #1, just looking for some more specifics.thanks.
