yeah but i've yet to even get an acceptance =/
You need to relax.

Some people (like myself) have been waiting for a decision since October.

Same here. Wondering if I should just withdraw my app.

It's been 20 weeks since you requested my LSDAS report....pleeeeeeease tell me anything!

My report was requested on September 10th. That was 24, almost 25, weeks ago. Do you think it would be imprudent to call and see what's up?

Complete since mid-Oct. and still nothing. Funny, I felt really good about my chances of admission (read: soft factors of special interest to UVA).  ???

My status checker does say they received my financial aid app., so at least they know I exist.

Law School Applications / Re: FAFSA ?

Crap. I didn't include that info. They will have it w/need access so it should be ok shouldn't it?

FAFSA makes you take a little quiz to determine if your parents' info in necessary. I included it on need access, but not on the FAFSA.

OMG. It is still SO early for you. Relax.

I had all my apps out in early October.... 18 weeks+ now.

Early September, here. I've heard back from 3/7. Relax, OP.

I've heard admission committees actually frown upon applicants with these certificates.

Dear X,

I am writing to release my spot in this fall's entering class. I am grateful to have been given the opportunity to study at XYZ Law, but I have decided to attend another school.

Thank you and take care,

I think I will use this one to schools that were nice to me in this process.  But for you others, (who were rude or didn't give me any money) please keep your eyes out for this:

Dear School,

Sorry you're not good enough...I won't be attending. Maybe if you'd given me more money, but it probably wouldn't matter.

-Joe Bob

Just don't send that first one to Northwestern or Vanderbilt. They've already seen it from me.
