Wait List / Re: PENN Pain
« on: March 04, 2008, 08:23:21 PM »
this is absolutely awful.
and to think we have at least two more months to wait, maybe 4, maybe 5!!!

does anyone know if anyone in the history of the penn waitlist has ever heard before the end of april.  or, more to the point, around NOW?

so this goes to all WL applicants:
how do you do it?
how can you wait till the end of august and not plan to move before that?
isn't housing a concern?  if you don't get into penn and have to travel to a different state where you did get accepted, you just pack up life and move within three days?

how do people do it?
i am on the penn wl but i think that if they don't come through with an offer by mid-june, i will have to relocate elsewhere.
what if they call in august?  should i break a lease on an apartment and move?
i simply don't understand how this works for people.
insight, please.

Law School Applications / Re: 2007-2008 Fee Waiver Roll Call

As I said, I'm a novice.  This also means that I spend my time doing other things and not reading 700 previous posts.  But thanks for your informative direction.

I'm quite a novice at checking fee waivers.
I got Northwestern, UVA, TU, and a few other 3rd tier ones.
How do I check if I have hidden ones?

I understand that I have to click "continue" on the application's page but what happens after I review the PDF files?  If I click continue, can I go back and change things afterwards because I'm not quite ready to submit?

Your opinion/advice would be greatly appreciated:
I blew in on the September test.  Practice tests were around the high 160s to mid 170s and I scored much lower than that.
I am shooting for the stars--Harvard, Yale, Columbia, NYU, etc.
I registered for the December test to try and improve my score, should I submit my applications with an addendum saying I'll be retaking the test or should I wait?
