Studying for the LSAT / Re: So sick of studying
« on: August 19, 2004, 09:58:33 PM »
Baff, do you take breaks during that time.  I'm assuming you do.  How long are your breaks?  I don't work tomorrow and was thinking about trying to do 4-5 hours during the day and maybe another 1 to 2 hours later that night.  Not sure how I should schedule breaks... I might take a break and decide to quit studying and go have a life.

I think I'll buy it.  $50 more bucks!  I'm about to break $500 for this test.

ughhh, maybe I can get through it! Thanks.

Go to the search option and type in LSAT tips or try typing in names of members on the board such as GreenEqs or M2.  These two I believe give really good advice.  I'm sure there are others but I can't recall their names.

Studying for the LSAT / 3 Weeks Long Enough to Get Through LR Bible
« on: August 19, 2004, 01:15:07 PM »
I need help on LR.  I want to buy the LR Bible BUT I am taking the Oct LSAT and wonder if I won't be able to get through the whole book. By the time I get the book, I'll have roughly 3 weeks left to study it.  I work full time. I usually average about 2-3 hours per night studying during the week and more on the weekend maybe about 16 hours total.  Do you think it's doable?  Should I just keep taking preptests?  Thx!

I scored about 8 points lower that I wanted to.  I was nervous.  I froze like a deer in headlights.  I also think that I shouldn't have studied at all the last 5 days b4 the test.  I burned myself out.  I'm hoping I won't freeze up again...
Oh yeah, I think I have a strategy this time where as b4 I kind of just did the questions (ugh!).

I took it at Northwestern initially.  It was decent, a lot of students.  For October I'm taking it at Roosevelt U.

Law School Admissions / Re: LSAC lists multiple UG schools

I did that too, attended a jr college.  But I did it more for financial reasons.  I have specific reasons why I attended the other schools.  I think it makes for a pretty interesting story.  Personal statement material?  I want to encompass it into a "this is part of what makes me who I am" kind of ps, if that makes sense.

Law School Admissions / LSAC lists multiple UG schools

I have attended more than one UG college.  Does LSAC show this on your report?  I was thinking about talking about it in my PS.
