Transferring / Re: Decisions 09

In at CLS today.

want biglaw in DC

t50 in DC, law review, 3.94
OR
CLS

(Waiting on H and Y, but you know...)

Is this an easy choice?

Honestly, I don't know if it's such an easy choice. In your spot, T50 in DC 3.94/LR, you're basically guaranteed biglaw in DC.

I'm sure there are numerous DC recruiters coming to C's OCI as well, but I don't know if your chances will be better.

You'd be transferring for prestige, not job opportunities IMO. Plus I'm sure you have some sort of scholarship now at your current school.

Law School Admissions / Addendum?
« on: October 30, 2007, 11:07:39 AM »
Hey every bdody,

I know this is a probably a silly question, but, how do you attach an addendum to an application? Is it just an attachment like our PS that we label as an addendum?

Thanks in advance.

Studying for the LSAT / Addendum?

Hey guys,

Scored a 163 in June and a 159 today. Should I bother explaining, or is it not going to make a difference? All the schools I am applying to only look at the highest.

Thanks :)

I didn't realize the June boxes were filled later in the day (and forgot the June test was on Monday), I thought it was a pretty realistic case taking all else into account from a precedent. I didn't just "guess".

But thanks to those who pointed out the flaws.

Thank you, RedMarker.

Do you know if you still have to place, for example, top 10%+ to be considered for biglaw? Or would they like a SCALE degree more?

Cool, I appreciate the heads up. The idea of a 2 year degree is attractive in my mind, but I gather it is much more intense and difficult.

I figured if it had a better reputation than the regular program it may be worth it.
