Studying for the LSAT / Re: December LSAT takers!
« on: December 07, 2008, 04:30:28 AM »
I COMPLETELY agree about Logic Games.  For some reason, none of the setups came easily to me, and I did not even get the chance to look at the last game.  It was so hard I thought it must be the experimental... and yet it wasn't.  Safe to say I tanked that section.

Law School Applications / LOR question
« on: November 14, 2008, 11:16:37 PM »
Hey! I was just wondering, when you have paid for an application to be sent out through checkout, does it automatically just send all the letters of recommendation for general use you have in the system out?  What if you have four in the system, yet only want three of them sent to a certain school.  I wasn't prompted to do anything about the letters...

How are you planning to study RC for your retake?  RC was my worst section on October as well, whereas Games used to be several months ago.  I worked on that for so long that it's now my (sorta) strength.  I'm wondering how much I can improve on RC in a month though...  How are you going about it?

Law School Applications / Re: BU vs. BC
« on: October 28, 2008, 12:22:00 PM »
My previous post must have seemed like I was concerned about campus aesthetics, but I don't really mind all that much about that, to be honest.  I meant about likes and dislikes of either school in general.  Any idea how BU and BC compare in the percentage of graduates receiving judicial clerkships?  Thanks so much for the responses, everyone!

I've been to BU's campus, but not BC's yet.  Any thoughts from current students at either?  What you like/ don't like, etc.?

Law School Applications / BU vs. BC

Any thoughts about how these two schools compare in terms of national reputation and job placement?  They seem to be equally selective...  Would a 3.8/164 be competitive at either or both of them?

Hookem... yeah, it stinks to have one section as a weakness, but it happens to so many people.  I guess that's why it's so impressive when someone scores in the 170+ range, because that means you probably aren't missing more than 2 a section, or are getting several sections perfectly right.

Anyway, I had an experimental RC first which rocked my nerves a bit, definitely showing up in the number of uncredited responses I had in the first half before break.  I missed 7 on the real RC, which really affected my score, obviously.  I did so well on the second half after break, which saved my score from being worse, luckily.

Contemplating retake, but not sure...

Even though I expected it, having -9 for the scale really stinks.
