when you fill out the bar application, there will be a question that if you have any record, expunged or not. You have to say yes. The bar also get the application from school, which obviously not going to match. Thats the reason Dean asked you and every one else. I believe, bar does not care about offense but rather you trying to hide and not be truthful.

come on Jacy
I am not helicopter pilot/parent
I can fly Cessna or similar aircraft but not helicopter. Having said that, my son is very hard working from ivy school and busy, has no time for this, and being old man, I have some time to play with.

My son is summer associate in big law firm in NYC.Last year he got multiple offers for summer associates. He will probably get an offer for associate for next year, but suppose he does not. What would you do.
Call the Law firm that he declined before or go for another OCI.Any comments.

2L job search / Re: What firms did everyone end up at?

My son decided for on of the top 20, since they allow him to rotate thru different division of law as first year associate, every 2 months. So at the end of year he can decide what kind of law he would like to practice. It reminds me of my Internship after Medical school.

get back to work, pops.

Well If my son is making 160K, may be I dont have to work.

I don't go to law school. My son, who is 2L, got coffee mug, candies, Star buck gift card and things like that.
Also, surprisingly, he got some stuff from firm he did not accept.

Uh...didn't you just post the other day about how your kid is going to get a public interest grant or something?  And haven't you ALSO said he's a 1L at some point?  (which means he shouldn't be interviewing at all yet?)

Jacy, I said my son got money from school to work at the end of 1L for city of NY. And now he is 2L.
