Well, it's official/unofficial. For those who elected to receive their LSAT scores via email, it should be there sometime today. My scores (LSAT #2) came in, and I am happy with the six point improvement. Let's hope the schools I applied for believe in me. Good luck everyone. Please keep it coming with where you end up being accepted!!!

I preferred the entire set of the Powerscore books - LG, LR, and RC. The way the books breakdown each section were helpful for me, and I appreciated the practice problems. In addition, I also had practice LSAT exams to work with. One webpage that had a good suggestion for how to study is this webpage:

My undergrad gpa was a 2.75, and the first try with the LSAT was a 146. I'm still waiting on my second LSAT scores from the October 2010 exam, and Cooley had already sent me an acceptance letter. I am happy to say at least I have been accepted into one law school.

I'm game for being part of a virtual support group for the LSAT. Of course it would be nice to have a face-face study group/support group as well, but no one responded to that inquiry.
I've been studying off-on for the LSAT since May. I've had some issues focusing, but as time has progressed, I know I can't slack off anymore! Good luck studying all and I look forward to hearing from fellow LSAT October 2010 takers! 8

Law schools just don't take the UGPA and LSAT score into consideration. They also consider letters, your personal statement, and any experience/interest in law.
My suggestion - unless you have the time and the energy to invest in another round of studying as you have for the first time, don't do it. Your LSAT score of 165 sounds like a dream to me. Good luck if you decide to retake the October exam. 10

Wish I found this advice column before the June exam. I may have done better.
Funny story really. When I took the exam, I felt FINE. I thought I did well, or definately around the low 160s. NOT even close. I think partially my nerves got to me, and in the end, I was not as prepared as I told myself. I will definitely take these suggestions in consideration as I prepare for the LSAT again (February 2009, here I come!).
