So you're telling me if he invited you to his mansion to swim in a pile of money you'd turn it down because he plays for the Yankees?

No.  It's been my dream to swim in a pile of money since the first time I watched DuckTales.

That made my day.  Ducktales...AHHHWOOOOOUUUUUUU U!

I would never ever ever ever go near a Yankee.

Also, PLEASE DON'T SEND YOUR KIDS TO NYC PRIVATE SCHOOLS THEY ARE CESSPOOLS OF EATING DISORDERS, SEXUAL DISEASES AND OTHER EVILS. PLEASE DON'T DO IT OH MY GOD PLEASE.

You say that as if it's a BAD thing.

I mean, it depends entirely on the COL.

If you spend:

rent - $1000
food - $500
transportation - $400
utilities/other expenses - $600
loans - $700
saving - $500
misc. - $300
total - $4000

That works out to $48,000 a year, divided by (1 - tax rate [probably ~.72]) gives you a gross income of ~66/67K.

Yo, CTL, what do you figure your COL to be?  I'm trying to figure out how much I wanna borrow.

Um...in Ithaca, or after school?

the former

I'm sticking to the Cornell budget.  It's like $1766/mo. or something.

How much will your rent be?  That's a boatload per month.

My rent is $900.

Where will the rest of it go?  I swear, maybe I'm a bum, but I swear to the Stork that I can live off way less than these budgets say I need to borrow.
