Rejected at Penn, but somehow receiving the waitlist letter from Columbia made it all better!! Is it just me but whenever I see the envelope from a certain school it all sort of makes sense, no matter thick of thin, maybe I'm just reassuring myself--but the schools I've been rejected at were places I only applied because of their rankings and its like this totally sucks, but you made the right move?

It took about two and a half weeks for my application to go complete. I applied in late November. I'm sure they were flooded with applications around the time you applied. Good luck, hope it goes complete soon!

I went to decision on Friday, I'm expecting something in the mail today. Don't know if that helps!

I suppose that's true, just make sure you marry in California or become biffles with a future divorce attorney in law school!!

I work at a V50 firm in NYC. The amount of adultery, and the amount of times I've been hit on by married men ranging from associates to partners, is truly sickening. The law, at least biglaw, seems to breed adulterous affairs (long hours, late nights, family living in LI or Westchester, etc.)--now I'm not saying that I wouldn't marry a male biglaw attorney--I'm just saying that it is a common occurence especially in high-pressure firms in big cities.

Has anyone withdrawn from a school? If so, can you post what you said in your letter to the admission office?! Thanks!!

Tom Petty was the hottest rocker ever and last night I wanted to run my hands through his hair. I thought he looked incredible and the show was amazing. He has a certain way about him, that is by no means "attractive", but you can't deny his sex appeal (or at least I can't). I thought that was a great halftime show, they played the songs people wanted to hear and they sounded great.

He looks old, but he looks great!

In the same boat as you all. Maybe its Friday, maybe I'm so excited to see I'm at decision somewhere--but I'm going to put the good vibes out there for all of us! Good luck to all.

Good luck to all who went to decision! I also, just checked my status and there it was DECISION. I'm still convinced it just says complete, looks like my jedi mind tricks finally started working.

This weekend is going to be long. Thank goodness there is football to distract!
