Yes, I'm attending. Some people see graduating from UH as a great achievement. I guess it depends on your goals and standards. In the real world, a law degree from UH will get you nowhere outside of Houston, with a few exceptions. I'm under no delusions about where a UH law degree can take me -- it ain't Wachtell. The average UH law graduate is making $60K the first year; that's nothing. If I do the very best I can, it probably will mean very little to the top firms. I'm willing to live with the fall-out; I'm just not happy about it -- but those are the cards I was dealt.

Reading this thread, I am reassured that this country sucks. Ward Churchill has something to say.

Your wee mind cannot understand this country and the sad thing is that you think you are so smart

And to answer the ?, I am going to start buying beer in bottles

Cannot find a false statement, here.

$2K to transform: apparently, you're bourgeoisie (I just pity the 20 years I spent fighting for justice; it's not a personal comment.)

So, if I have an extra 2K, I ought to spend it on something cool, not something useful or benevolent.

The cool factor, yeah, that's the reason to buy and use one.

I'm embarassed for you. Almost anyone from T14 will demolish anyone at a Tier 4. The vast majority of people at T14 are incredibly intelligent and disciplined -- don't fool yourself.

Personally, I hope you're working for UPS, and then, you dump them. One on my major goals in life is to be in a position of power in a company where I can demand that the company neither accept nor send any packages through UPS. That company screwed me royal when I worked for them as a cargo handler. I'm looking for pay-back.
