Yes, I'm attending. Some people see graduating from UH as a great achievement. I guess it depends on your goals and standards. In the real world, a law degree from UH will get you nowhere outside of Houston, with a few exceptions. I'm under no delusions about where a UH law degree can take me -- it ain't Wachtell. The average UH law graduate is making $60K the first year; that's nothing. If I do the very best I can, it probably will mean very little to the top firms. I'm willing to live with the fall-out; I'm just not happy about it -- but those are the cards I was dealt.

So, if I have an extra 2K, I ought to spend it on something cool, not something useful or benevolent.

The cool factor, yeah, that's the reason to buy and use one.

I'm embarassed for you. Almost anyone from T14 will demolish anyone at a Tier 4. The vast majority of people at T14 are incredibly intelligent and disciplined -- don't fool yourself.
