Waitlisted today (4/18). At least I can say I wasn't rejected anywhere.
I think I may stay on this one, because unlike Yale, its looks like SLS does take a signficant number of admits from the waitlist.
That's true. Yale almost never takes more than a couple (and often none at all). On the other hand, Stanford almost always taps its waitlist quite a bit.
LSN gave me a different impression.
I don't know why that would be.
Ok, I checked the numbers. Last year LSN only had 4 users who went WL -> Accept, but in cycles prior there were more. I guess I was being thrown off by last year's numbers. I wish schools would release this type of information.
