SEO is extremely conservative and rarely selects persons outside of the T-14, to answer a couple questions I saw raised upthread.

If anyone has any questions about GULC, feel free to PM me or reply on this thread. My final decision came down to Northwestern v. GULC.

Waitlisted today (4/18).  At least I can say I wasn't rejected anywhere. :(

I think I may stay on this one, because unlike Yale, its looks like SLS does take a signficant number of admits from the waitlist.

That's true.  Yale almost never takes more than a couple (and often none at all).  On the other hand, Stanford almost always taps its waitlist quite a bit.

LSN gave me a different impression.

I don't know why that would be.

Ok, I checked the numbers. Last year LSN only had 4 users who went WL -> Accept, but in cycles prior there were more. I guess I was being thrown off by last year's numbers. I wish schools would release this type of information.

Rejected by SEO today.

So sorry to hear that joe  :-[ If you dont mind me asking did you interview or get a request for the school you are going to?

I'm not certain if I understand what you're saying, but I did do the interview with them and was asked what school I am going to (see the sig).

After your interview, did they send you a letter asking where you are going to law school?

Yes.

Rejected by SEO today.

if you don't mind telling, when did you apply and did they email you the decision?

I applied right around the time of the first deadline and my decision was e-mailed to me (I had to click on a link).

Isn't this too early??
The "hold" letter says we can submit additional materials by Apr 11. I thought they won't make any decision until after that...

FYI: I was waitlisted today via letter, so it looks like they're making decisions on the first round of holds.

Depending on when you received your hold letter, you had a different due date.
